Phewww!
Sorry I've been MIA. Life has been so busy, full of changes and exciting things, so it took me awhile to get back.
But, while I was on this crazy roller-coaster, I unintentionally founded out how to clean a Beauty Blender, fast and easy!
The Beauty Blender is an amazing sponge, that makes your makeup look amazingly air brushed! I absolutely loved it, and can't live without it!

With that being said, the Beauty Blender also gets VERY dirty and it's difficult to clean it up. The sponge absorbs lots of makeup and it can spread bacteria all over your face if you don't clean it properly.
I used to clean my Beauty Blenders with neutral soap, under my sink, rubbing on the palm pf my hand...MANY times until everything was gone. SO ANNOYING (and never cleaned it perfectly)!
Then one day I was running late to work ....  and that's what I found out:

  • Set your used Beauty Blender on a place that can get wet
  • Cover your Beauty Blender with FOAM SOAP (neutral and no smell)
  • Leave it there for at least 3 hours
  • After that, you will see that the sponge absorved all the soap
  • Wash your Beauty Blender under warm/hot water
  • The best way to do it is to put your sponge on your palm and squeeze it many times under the water

Done! I did that while in the shower, and literally, ALL the nasty stuff came out of my Beuaty Blender as magic!! So happy! Never staying on the sink washing those again haha
What do you think? How do you clean your Beuaty Blender?

Hi guys!!

I'm back with two quick suggestions for Meat Free Monday snacks, and also a reflection.
I have been thinking a lot about how people react when I talk about the vegan lifestyle. Usually people don't understand the real meaning of it so they say things like:
OMG how do you get your proteins? (that's not even a thing)
Can you only eat salad?
Meh, its so boring to be vegan, can't do it.
We NEED meat.

I could go on and on, but all I want to say today is: please read and research more about it before any conclusions. Please, leave your confort zone. Try at least once a week. It's amazing and it feels SO good! Another thing is: VEGANISM IS NOT RESTRICTIVE! There are thousands of foods you'd eat everyday, in a vegan version. Again, read, ask questions, try different flavors. Its all worth it, I promise!

About the snacks:

This is my FAVORITE snack (before or after lunch):
  • mini sweet peppers
  • olive oil
  • spices (salt, black/red pepper, garlic powder, oregano)
Put washed peppers on cooking sheet. Spread oil all over them and sprinkle your spices on top. Broil for 3-5 minutes, or until is cooked!

This one is my favorite for quick, on the go, busy morning breakfast:
  • strawberries (or literally, any other fruit you like)
  • coconut milk
  • granola
  • sugar
  • ice
You can either, blend it all together and drink it as a smoothie (so yummy) or just mix it with a spoon and eat it that way! Practical and energy boosting! I add as many fruits and granola as possible so I feel good to start my morning. Sometimes, I also throw some coconut flakes in it :)

There you go! Yummy, easy, clean and healthy snacks that you can prepare on the go. Help the animals and your body to feel GOOD! Take a chance and try those out!

I know, it sounds veeeeery interesting, but hear me out.
We all have tried to do the perfect cat eye or a smokey eye... and ended up like a raccoon.
Not pretty and upsetting, because if you clean it up, say goodbye to all your beautiful foundation, etc etc.
Well, those are days from the past.
Literally, ALL you need to get the perfect eyeliner/smokey eye is SCOTH TAPE.
Or any tape you have at home. Simple like that!
Let's jump on how to use that for your benefit:

  • You will need: Tape and your hands
  • Cut 2 pieces of tape. I suggest them to be the size of your pinky finger
  • Stick the tape pieces on your HAND prior putting on your face. The skin surrounding your eyes are super sensitive, so by doing that, your tape will stick without hurting your eye area
  • Place tape on where you usually do eyeliner. I put mine diagonally, under my lower lashes, pointing to the tip of my eyebrow.
  • Do your eye makeup as usual.
  • After you're done, gently remove tape.

All set! This is so easy, but a life saver! When I know I'm gonna use tape for my eyes, I do my face (foundation, primer, powder, etc) AFTER finishing with my eyes. Why? Because when you remove the tape, you have the risk of messing everything up. Its just safer that way.
I want to thank you again for stopping by. I'm still in shock with the amount of support I've been getting it.
Let me know how it goes after you try this trick!

Helloooo!
I'm excited to share this AWESOME vegan version of Breakfast Pancakes!
They taste delicious and the smell of cinnamon is just YUM!
This is a very simple recipe, without eggs, milk or butter. It is quick and easy to make, fool-proof!
I say that, because I have tried to make pancakes a THOUSAND times and they always turned out terrible and tasting like baking soda.
When I made this vegan version for the first time, I had to text everybody I knew letting them know that "I had finally made good pancakes"! haha
Its a guaranteed hit and you can adapt it to your own desire.
So, the recipe:

  • 1/2 cup of Applesauce
  • 2 cups of Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Sugar (brown or regular)
  • 1/4 Vanilla Extract (optional)
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Mix all the dry ingredients together first. I like to use a strainer so its all fluffy and without huge balls of flour.
Then, SLOWLY add the water. Add a little bit, and stir it. Keep doing that and then add the applesauce. Mix it all together until you have a nice consistent batter.
Next, heat up a greased frying pan on medium-high heat. Put some batter on it, and flip sides when you see little bubbles on top of your pancake.

Done!
They're delicious, easy and to die for.
Take a day to change your habits and to experience different flavors. You can help the planet, doing a little bit everyday.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Yes, you've heard about it. Yep, it is a trend at the moment. Does it really work though?
Coconut Oil is the new thing right now and its uses can go from cooking to beauty trick.
I was always intrigued by it, because...it is food! haha
But, hey, I decided to try it out, on my hair first, as I heard that it moisturizes and hydrates hair, like a miracle.
So far, I've been using for about 3 weeks, and let me tell you... ITS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm never buying or using anything else on my hair! Salons? No, thanks.
This thing is just incredible for many reasons...Here's some:
It leaves the hair, soft and silky. It makes MUCH easier to brush and detangle. It leaves a wonderful, yet subtle, smell. It moisturizes your hair very intensely, helping with split ends and damaged hair.
I just can't say enough things about it. It is worth every penny you spend on it (coconut oil isn't very cheap).

Anyways, straight to the instructions on how to use it:

  • You will need: coconut oil (I bought LouAna All Natural Pure Coconut Oil, the brand makes no difference, as long as it is pure and oil).

  • On your DRY hair, apply the coconut oil. Start with the ends, working your way to the top. You might want to divide your hair in sections, so you moisturize it thoroughly.
  • If your goal is to GROW your hair longer, apply coconut oil on your scalp and massage it for a few minutes.
  • After applying coconut oil all over your hair, put it on a bun, and leave it for at least 3 HOURS! I know it sounds a lot, but its worth it, I promise.
  • Time to wash your hair. To remove the coconut oil from your hair completely, start by applying shampoo BEFORE you put any water on it. Always do shampoo first. It feels weird, but it works.
  • After the shampoo, wash your hair with warm water. Then apply LOTS of conditioner and leave it on your hair for 3 minutes. Conditioner is what removes the oil from your hair.
  • Wash it again. If you feel the need, repeat the conditioning part.
  • Wash it until you feel there's no product left on your hair.

Blow-dry or let it dry naturally (it looks very nice after the treatment). I do this once a week, but analyse your hair and see what would be the best for you.
There you go! A review and a trick of mine, that actually works!
Thanks for stopping by. I've been getting so much support and I feel so blessed because of you.
Let me know what you'd like to see next.

I recently got back from an amazing trip to Vietnam/Cambodia/South Korea. I had a lovely time, but...
Yes, it was EXTREMELY hot. And humid. Yay.
I'm all about embracing natural beauty, but I didn't feel like not wearing makeup. I don't like dark circles + white face + tanned body. So yeah. I did my makeup over there anyways.
The million dollar question is, how can you keep your makeup going on strong in hot, humid, sticky weather?
HA!
I got the answer. And the products.
Lets go straight to the point:

PRIMER:
I call this my miracle! The Hard Candy Sheer Envy Primer Longwear 12hr is the whole and pretty much only reason why my makeup stayed good ALL DAY! Literally. This primer is life. It holds my makeup for up to 12hr, as it says in the package. It makes my skin smooth and soft. It feels a little sticky when you put it on, so allow it to dry before starting your makeup. This primer protects your skin, holds everything in place and helped with sweating SO much. I can't do my makeup without it. And the best of all: they're cruelty-free. No animal testing/torture. Hard Candy is exclusively sold at Walmart/online only.

FOUNDATION:
I suggest medium to light coverage. Why? Because it will blend better to your skin and it wont look terrible when you sweat, touch your skin etc. Plus it fits better to the situation (for me, walking, site seeing etc). I absolutely loved Wet'n'Wild coverall Cream Foundation. It is buildable, cheap, wonderful on the skin and survived my extremely sweaty vacation. Cruelty-free also! You don't want something on your face that made an animal suffer ;(

POWDER:
Without this you will melt within seconds. Pressed powders are better because you can pad it on your skin, securing your foundation better. On the other hand, loose powders will take the shine off, but it wont keep foundation in place. While on vacation L A Colors Pressed Powder did the trick for me and I was very surprised with the results. Cruelty-free.

For the eyes, lips, blush, bronzing, etc, I followed my normal routine, giving priority to anything that was in powder version, instead of creams, gels or pastes.
Yep, there you go. You cant go wrong with a few extra tips and specially, investing in good products that make your pocket happy and the animals too.
Thanks for reading my blog and I hope that you were able to find something helpful in here!
Any suggestions for what you'd like to see next?

Oiii! Hi hommies!

First post! Phew!
I'm excited for it because it's #meatfreemonday !!
Let me tell you real quick what this is all about! Meat Free Monday is a campaign to encourage people to not eat meat on Monday's (duhhh) in order to improve their health as well as the planet's health. This is perfect for those transitioning to veganism/vegetarianism or those who simply want to try it out to see how it feels and discover different flavors... without any meat!
What do you guys eat on #meatfreemonday ? Have you ever tried doing it? What's your favorite dish? Maybe I can turn it into a vegan version haha
People often think that if you're going on a vegan diet or Meat Free Monday... that fruits and vegetables are all you're gonna eat, but NOPE! They're wrong.
Today I decided to post one of my favorite dishes of all times: Pesto Pasta!
Simple. Clean. Delicious. Vegan. Comfort Food. No suffering. Healthy. Yummy!!
You can serve it solo or with side dishes like vegetables, french fries...or whatever else you like! The sky is the limit, so here it goes!

Receita/Recipe
Pasta: any type... I prefer eggless spaghetti, but choose your fave and boil it!

Pesto Sauce:
Greens, such as spinach, basil, arugula, etc
Olive Oil
Herbs (parsley, cilantro, oregano, mint, etc)
Veggies (tomatoes, lettuce, aspargus, etc)
Pine nuts (walnuts, any kind of seeds)
Parmesan (optional)
Garlic
Spices (salt, pepper, cayenne, paprika, any spice you like)

After gathering your ingredients... blend, blend and blend! Start with little olive oil, then add more to get the consistency you prefer.

This is ridiculosly easy and the pesto goes literally on anything... pasta, toast, potatoes and beyond!
So here you go.. an easy, simple and quick #meatfreemonday meal for ya!
Thanks gente!
I'm excited for this new journey and hope to make a difference in someone's life!
